Adam Grove, ND, CBIS:

 Dr. Adam Grove is a Naturopathic, family-practice doctor specializing in children and adults with neurological challenges. He emphasizes a whole-person focus with attention to accurate diagnosis and holistic treatment for brain-based issues.  He works with people of all ages experiencing symptoms of ADD/ADHD, Autism, Brain injury and the like. He approaches each patient individually using treatments which are the least invasive, have the lowest chance of adverse effects and are the
most effective.  These include nutrition, herbs, supplements, neuro-feedback, cognitive training, craniosacral and other physical therapies. Dr. Grove received his doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington in 2002.  He also holds a Masters of Arts degree in Soviet Area Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Member of the Alaska State Advisory Committee on Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Educational Improvement. He is a frequent presenter on a variety of topics related to his practice.

Karyn Grove-Bruce, Psy.S., CBIS:

Karyn graduated in 1990 from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Specialist in School Psychology degree (Psy.S.). She has worked in school districts in Louisiana, California and Alaska dealing with children experiencing autism, cognitive deficits, ADHD, learning disabilities, fetal alcohol syndrome, and brain injuries along with other issues such as suicide intervention, cutting, bullying and depression. Karyn is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) through the Brain Injury Association of America. She is also a Suzuki trained violin and viola and SECE (Suzuki Early Childhood Education) private studio teacher, and plays with many professional groups in Anchorage and around Alaska. Karyn has a Bachelor of Music Performance on viola from the University of Arizona, and is the long-time Executive Director of the Suzuki Association of Southcentral Alaska.

Dr. Orna Izakson is a registered herbalist and licensed naturopathic doctor specializing in mental health, women’s health and chronic disease. Her practice focuses identifying and addressing the underlying causes of health challenges, empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make informed choices, take educated action and enjoy lasting relief. Her primary prescriptions include food, plant medicines, time in nature, rest, movement and joy. Dr. Orna earned her doctorate from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She also holds a Master of Arts degree the University of Missouri Graduate School of Journalism and worked as an environment and science reporter for more than a decade before becoming a doctor.
