The Neurocognitive Brain Center: Provides innovative approaches to assessing and treating brain-based problems such as ADHD, Autism. poor academic performance, brain injury, and stroke to name a few. Our highly trained "Brain-Lab" staff provides in-depth assessments using neuro-imaging, psychological and neurological testing. In conjunction with consulting neurologists, clinical psychologists and electrophysiologists, we provide our patients with individualized neuro-imaging, neurodevelopment training, biofeedback and heart rate variability training to increase brain performance and hasten recovery.
Massage Therapy: Our licensed and highly skilled massage therapist provides a wide-range of techniques which can be applied on an as needed basis.
iRest/Yoga Nidra: We are currently the only clinic in the state that offers iRest/yoga nidra sessions with a practitioner. These can be done one on one or in a group class and have been proven effective in dealing with stress, previous emotional trauma, PTSD, sleep issues and many other issues.
Dispensary: Head to Toe houses the most complete natural products dispensary in the state which allows our practitioners to ensure patients get the highest quality and most appropriate herbs, supplements, and natural remedies quickly and safely. If we do not stock an item you need, we are happy to place a special order.
Please allow at LEAST 24 hours for refilling prescription items. It sometimes takes longer than that to research your case and get the medication dispensed, so let us give you a call when it is ready (please do not drop in early to check). Unopened dispensary items are returnable within 30 days of purchase ONLY.
New Patients/Transfer Patients: You must complete your visit paperwork prior to being allowed in for your visit. If you are a new patient, please allow at least 20-25 minutes to complete the paperwork (it is quite extensive). Transfer patients will need to allow at least 15 minutes. If you have not seen your provider within the past two years, you are considered a new patient.
Late Appointments/Cancellations: If you are more than 15 minutes late for your 60 minute appointment, or 30 minutes late for your 90 minute appointment you will need to reschedule. For brain lab appointments, you cannot be more than 10 minutes late. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
Billing of insurance:
Insurance is not a guarantee of payment. If you need pre-approval from your insurance, we can give you the codes so that you can call and inquire from your insurance company. We will bill your insurance if you present your insurance card(s) at the time of your appointment. It is important for you to know that we are not always contracted with your insurance carrier. This means that you are responsible for monitoring the processes of your insurance company to make certain you claim is processed in a timely manner, for contacting them if you have questions as to how your claim was processed, and that you are ultimately responsible for payment of services rendered. Any co-payments or “patient responsibility” percentages must be paid at the time of service. If we do not receive a response from your insurance company within 45 days from the date we bill them, the balance will become your responsibility. You will receive a statement for any remaining balance after all applicable insurances have been applied. That balance is due in full at that time. If we do not receive your payment in full within 90 days from the date of the first statement or have not heard from you about setting up a payment plan, your account may be turned over to a third-party collection agency. We also recommend that you research your insurance benefits prior to your office visit, as there could be reasons why your insurance will not pay for your visit. This may be due to your deductible not having been met, or the services provided not being covered by your policy. Injections and dispensary items are NOT covered by insurance and must be paid for in full at the time of your visit. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. If a payment in check form is returned to us because of insufficient funds, you will be charged a $25 fee. Payment in full at the time of service is required in the following circumstances:
You do not have insurance coverage
You have not brought your insurance cards with you
You have not met your deductible
A contract is required by your policy and we are not contracted with your insurance carrier
Any procedures or treatments we believe are not covered by insurance
If you are a Blue Cross/Blue Shield patient, we CANNOT bill labs for you. You will be responsible for dealing with the lab and insurance company for these and will need to contact them directly with questions. If you have other insurance, we will bill labs for you, but any amount not covered by your insurance company will be your responsibility and we will bill you directly for that.
